Grace Lee & Justin Yoo

Grace & Justin  first met in 2015 at their church in Houston back in high school. For years, they had mutual friends and were around each other in Bible study classes. During the winter break of their freshman year of college, they both volunteered at the church’s youth winter retreat and ended up spending a lot of time talking and getting to know each other.

After the retreat, they kept in touch, and a few months later, Justin finally asked Grace to be his girlfriend! Even though Grace was at UT Austin and Justin was at Texas A&M, they decided to give long distance a try. By the grace of God, countless FaceTime calls, and plenty of road trips and bus rides between Austin, College Station, and Houston they made it work.

After more than five years of long-distance through college and post-grad life, Grace got a new job and moved to Dallas to be with Justin. Not long after, on a trip with friends, Justin proposed in the Dolomites—making all those miles worth it.

 

March 2026 will mark seven years together, and they’re so excited to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter surrounded by their friends and family!
